Thursday Evening Subscriber Swim - Sandown

Thursday evening swim at 18:15 (6.15pm) to allow a little extra time for those who work to arrive. We meet at the beach by The Sundial Cafe / iSurf at the northern end of The Esplanade (what3words glitz.rhino.reporter.) Paid parking along the sea front or free in the high street (1 hour limit then free after 6pm.) We change at the beach, there is no shelter. The most popular of our dips - meet at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (WHAS) Car Park and swim at Yaverland (weather and sea state permitting.) Please pay for parking, it is monitored. Exact swim location can change, there may be a short walk and possibly some high steps. We generally change at the beach, dip, then go to the cafe for a hot drink and a chat, so allow a couple of hours parking if you would like to join us, post dip.
